Intel® Education K-12 Resources Our aim is to promote excellence in Mathematics and how this can be used with technology in order to improve the performance of learners and also for teachers. We know that South Africa received a poor rating in both Maths and Science education, and ranks 146 out of 148 in terms of education quality (2.1 out of 7). Due to these poor learning standards, the economy of South Africa has been greatly impacted. We look to teachers as the solution. By focusing on teacher performance we aim to improve these statistics. We are going to present two types of learning

Intel® Education K-12 Resources Blended Virtual Model Remote, online learning complemented with spending time with a teacher or traditional classroom experience on an as- needed basis. Rotation Model Students rotate on a fixed schedule between learning online and learning with a teacher in a traditional classroom setup. Flex Model Students receive most of their instruction through online tools and curriculum and teachers provide on-site backup support. Self-Blend Model Students choose to take one or more courses online to supplement their traditional school’s offerings.
