DESP Compensation Health Insurance 6.3% increase with no changes in current plan design. Employees will continue to pay 6% of the employee premium and 17% of the dependent premium. 1

DESP Compensation Building Check Increase 6 Weekend custodian building check reimbursement increased from $15 to $20

DESP Compensation Additional secretarial help 7 Added $70,000 to fund additional secretarial help at the elementary schools. Elementary Directors will determine allocation based on need.

DESP Compensation Suspended Custodial Preferred Experience Ladder 8 The Custodial Preferred Experience Ladder will be suspended for the school year. All qualified candidates will be reviewed by the Custodial Services Department and forwarded on to schools for interviews.
