Entrance Requirements BS or BA degree Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) scores No specific course requirements, but the following are strongly recommended: Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, Psychology, Sociology Other suggested courses: Cell Biology, Anatomy, Physiology & Microbiology No specific major is required  South Carolina residency is a primary admission consideration. Out-of-state students with close SC ties are considered.
