Workshops: Elevating Your Game Becoming a Triple Impact Competitor The Power of Double Goal Coaching Developing Winners in Sports and Life Positive Sports Parenting How “Second-Goal” Parents Raise Winners in Life through Sports Developing Better Athletes, Better People A Leadership Guide to Transforming High School and Youth Sports into a Development Zone Positive Coaching Alliance was started by a Stanford Unversity professor in 1984 after experiencing his own children’s participation in youth sports. Now there are more than 1000 organizational sports members serving over 3 million youth athletes. Some of the people on their Advisory Board include: Shane Battier, Larry Brown, Nadia Comaneci, Bart Connor, Herm Edwards, Phil Jackson, Doc Rivers, Summer Sanders. The late Dean Smith was also a member as well as multiple Olympic Gold Medal winning athletes from across the sports spectrum.. USA Swimming has recently partnered with PCA and they had a speaker at the USA Swimming Annual Convention last September, who wowed everyone –especially our own athlete representatives. At the urging of our MD Swimming Jr. Athlete rep, Allison Hu, we have “snagged” 2 of their speakers..and – they are awesome! The Board of Directors of Maryland Swimming is very excited to bring this opportunity to our Md Swimming family..We hope your club will take advantage of this opportunity and participate at the max levels allowed, per club. THERE IS NO FEE TO ATTEND ANY OF THE WORKSHOPS
