Homelessness What challenges do the homeless face? In what ways does society help and how could we do more? Write an essay paragraphs answering these questions. Use text evidence from “I was Homeless, the infographic on page 7 in the SCOPE magazine, the essay on page 6 “Are We Doing Enough?”, and the video “I Lived in a Truck” to support your ideas.

Requirements Your essay must be 5 paragraphs. – This includes an introduction, 3 body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You must include information from all 4 sources listed on the previous slide. A good essay: – Has a clear introduction – States a focus/topic clearly – Uses specific evidence from the text to support the topic – Concludes effectively – Uses precise language – Correct mechanics, usage, and spelling
