Check list for your project

Research Paper You must research your project before you can start working on it. The last day to turn in the paper is April 4 th. The paper must be 2-4 pages containing citations from at least 3 different credible sources. You can turn it in early to start your project.

“Blog Posts” “Blog posts” every 2 weeks you will be required to update your progress on your science fair project. This post should explain what you have done and what you have learned from the previous post. You need to include data and pictures of your progress. Even if it is nothing more then we meet and bought supplies for the first post you must submit by the due date. (Mondays)

Final project paper It will be 3-5 pages with at least 1 page of data. You will be given a format to follow, so you will just be filling in each section with your findings. This is due at the end of may 1 week before the presentation. (May 20 th )

Final project presentation You will have to present your project in front other students in the MPR. You and your partner will set up a presentation and explain what your project is about Both of you will need to be able to answer any questions about your project and will be graded based on the quality of the responses. The presentations will be at the end of may 1 week after the paper.

The break down I will be going through your papers and my notes on each presentation. The grading will break down as follows – “Blog Posts”15pts* – Research Paper25pts – Lab report Paper25pts – Presentation25pts* – Taking your project further up to 20pts *Failure to complete / pass these assignments will result in a zero grade for the project
