WRITE IT OUT WITH YOUR GROUP W/OUT YOUR NOTES AP Bio Bellringer 1/11 If you did the homework please get it out so I can pick it up. Question: As animals are heterotrophic organisms, the ability to move and find food is important. Movement on earth, for animals, occurs basically in three different environments (Air, land, or water). Each environment has the same forces working against movement (Friction and gravity). In no more than three sentences, choose ONE environment for movement and tell to what degree each force hinders movement and describe how those forces are overcome by the anatomical structure of animals that utilized that environment. (5 Points) WRITE IT OUT WITH YOUR GROUP W/OUT YOUR NOTES

Rubric 1pt. Discussion of the degree gravity imposes upon movement. 1pt. Discussion of the degree friction imposes upon movement. 1pt. Disccussion of the anatomical feature needed to overcome those forces 1pt. Correct use of scientific terms. 1pt. Answer has no more than three sentences. (Following Directions.)
