It’s time for AP Exams! AP Exams MUST be given on the assigned testing day at the prescribed time. Early testing is not permitted under any circumstances. Students may complete personal identification section of their answer sheets, but AP exam booklets or exam CDs may not be opened 4 AP Exam Administration
Seating charts are required for each AP exam administration this year. Seating charts must be kept for six months after the exam. Allow no less than 5 feet between students. All students must face the same direction Round tables may not be used See pages 88 and 108 of the AP Coordinator’s manual 5 AP Exam Administration
If proctors are AP Teachers, they cannot assist with an exam of the course they teach An individual cannot proctor an exam or handle any materials for an exam in the year in which an immediate family member may be taking that exam. Proctors may not review in any manner the content of the exam Proctors may not be employed at a test preparation company 6 AP Exam Administration
Note: AP English Language and Composition Section II 15-minute reading period is recommended, not required. Students are encouraged to use this time, but may begin writing during this period. 7 AP Exam Administration

NMSI’s Laying the Foundation (LTF) Training LTF training will focus heavily on A+ College Ready’s 12 Pre-AP Courses, developed by teams of Alabama teachers: – Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II w/ Trig, Pre-Calculus – English 7, English 8, English 9, English 10 – Life Science 7, Physical Science 8, Biology, Chemistry Teachers in Program Schools are EXPECTED to attend training and teach the CCRS aligned courses above and implement to 80% fidelity 10

AP teachers in Program Schools can attend APSI during the summer of 2015 for any class they will teach during the school year Teachers will need to submit a PO number during registration Registration and course information available online at Advanced Placement Summer Institute (APSI)

Equipment and stipend funds for FY 15 need to be pulled down from the ALSDE – AP Teacher Stipends – June 1 – Lead Teacher Stipends – June 1 – Equipment funding – June 1 – AP Exam reimbursement – June 1 – Summer Training (LTF and APSI) – August 1 Use Form ES-2 for all ALSDE reimbursements, and submit copy to 14 Equipment and Stipends
For School year: Priority deadline for equipment requests is July 15 Final deadline for equipment requests is September 1 – You can start submitting at any time – The objective is to have all equipment orders ready to go when ALSDE makes funds available October Equipment and Stipends
