The time has come to pick your classes for your last year of high school! Are you ready? I’ll take about 30 mins tops to give you some guiding tips on doing this and then you will go to your classes to receive your course selection sheet with the list of classes to choose from. You will have 2 weeks to make your choices and this is done online. Anyone know the one course you all have to take no ifs ands or buts? English

Accessing the BYOD Website From the Internet Homepage Click “BYOD PAGE” Most of you may have already had a chance to set up and start using your BYOD professional account. If you have not had the opportunity to set up this account please do so as soon as possible. You can access this account right when you first log in to the computer.

BYOD Website (Step 1) byod.peelschools.org Click the Office 365 Mail Icon byod.peelschools.org Clicking on the email icon will take you to your email set up. clicking the OFFICE 365 link will take you to your email set up.

BYOD Website (New User Step 2) 1. Next, set the time zone by clicking the drop down menu and selecting Eastern Time. In order to set up your outlook professional BYOD account you will need to select English (US) and select the Eastern Time Zone (US and Canada) and click Save. It is that simple to set up your email account. You can now ready to use your new email account. 2. Then click ‘save’.

Your BYOD Professional Email Address It is crucial for you to set up and access your BYOD email. This professional email address will be used to access My Blueprint. It is crucial that you set up this account as this will be the professional email YOU will be using to select YOUR courses on MYBLUEPRINT. In the future this account will be use to relay important information to you. YOUR new email address is your student number @pdsb.org. Your new email address is: studentnumber@pdsb.org

How to Login to My Blueprint? Go to www.myblueprint.ca/peel Already have an account? Login here using email address Be sure to record the email address and password. New user? Login here. Select ‘David Suzuki S.S.’ from the drop-down menu, then click ‘Create Account’. If a New user BE SURE to have your OEN # (9 digit # found on your Student Card, Report Card or Status Sheet)

Timetable Changes Impossible or difficult to change courses once you start school. Timetable is built based on YOUR choices! Change of mind about optional courses WILL NOT be considered in September! Be certain about courses you are choosing! Be sure to review OSSD and Post-secondary requirements.

Summer School Information It is student responsibility & it FILLS up quickly! Attend summer school to do make-up credits (compulsory courses) 40% or higher in a course, 2 week summer school make-up Below 40%, full month summer course Summer coop is a great option to earn 2 credits in the summer! Summer school information – Available in early April
