Welcome To The 2014 Wilson Production of The Little Mermaid Jr!

Now Let’s Go Under The Sea!

Introducing the Little Mermaid Jr. Staff! Mr. Gray- Director Ms. Moretz- Musical Director Ms. Pogarian- Producer Ms. Merson- Costume Designer Ms. Caccavelli- Backstage Producer (Set Designer) Ms. Friswell- Choreographer

Everyone will get a part! Actors: Grades 5-8 Backstage: Grades 6-8 Those roles include: Painters, Crew, Lighting, Costumes, Ushers, Assistants to Mr. Gray/Ms. Pogarian, Ms. Moretz, Ms. Merson, Ms. Caccavelli

It will be YOUR responsibility to check the website for rehearsal times! They are posted on Sunday Named characters will need to adjust after school time to their rehearsal schedule! You CAN NOT miss more than 2 rehearsals. If you miss more than 2 your point may be re-assigned. So important to be on time and ready to rehearse! Commitment: What does that REALLY mean?

Absence Doctors/Dentist Appointments (one will be allowed if your parents or you let us know ahead of time) AFTER SCHOOL (Detention, Extra Help, Staying with a teacher) Other Clubs You Forgot. You didn’t want to come, you didn’t feel like coming You didn’t check the schedule. Ursula took your singing voice :) Unacceptable Reasons For Missing Rehearsal

After November 12th you will be required to be at ALL rehearsals. You need to be available for all rehearsals on Tech Week (the week of the show). Rehearsals will go until 6pm the week of the show. You MUST come, and be on time to all shows. If you have something else one of the days, if you can’t commit to ALL three shows you can not audition. The show dates will be December 12 & 13th at night, and December 14th in the afternoon. Commitment

Rehearsals will go until 4pm. Meaning you can not take the late bus! You must be on time. Rehearsal time is valuable. Make sure you check the rehearsal schedule on the Moodle Site on Sunday. Look at when you are needed! There may be a week that you will get out early. Again if you can’t make this commitment please don’t audition! Rehearsal

You are allowed to miss the portion of rehearsal that you have music lessons! But you must be at rehearsal before and after the lesson! There is one reason you can miss...

Dinner is Served!

You have to bring back a signed contract with your activity fee by your audition. If you do not do this, you will not be allowed to rehearse until it is turned in! We strongly encourage you to bring it with you to auditions so you don’t have to worry about it later! Cast & Crew Contracts & Fee

Sing something short for Mr. Gray & Ms Moretz just so we know what your voice sounds like Sing anything you would like! Doesn’t need to be from the Little Mermaid. Sign up for a slot, and be early! Callbacks- Not everyone is called back. Callbacks involve some singing, some reading script, and possibly some movement. Auditions
