JRPSC Background September 2013 – Host Community Support Platform (HCSP) is established to address the impact of the Syria crisis on Jordanian Host Communities September 2014 – Jordan Response Platform for the Syria Crisis (JRPSC) established for the development and implementation of a comprehensive refugee and resilience strengthening response to the impact of the Syria crisis.

Jordan Response Plan 2015 A single comprehensive national document providing an integrated refugee and resilience response to the Syria crisis in Jordan. Nationally-led and owned process in partnership with the United Nations and the international community. Builds on pre-existing planning exercises, particularly the NRP and RRP. 2 main components: Joint Needs Assessment Review Report – mid-Oct Integrated Jordan Response Plan (JRP) – Dec. 2014

The JRP preparation process Over 200 representatives from the Government and the international community, including UN entities, Embassies and Cooperation Agencies, INGOs and NGOs participated in the process.

JRP Budget Breakdown Total Budget Requirements: US$ 2.99 Billion

Jordan Resilience Fund: Process and Next Steps The multi-partner trust fund was first adopted as a funding mechanism in the National Resilience Plan , which was approved by the Cabinet The Jordan Response Plan 2015 emphasized the need for trust funds The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation requested the support of UNDP for the development of JRP trust fund documentation Jordan Resilience Fund documents are currently in the final stages and will be ready for signing before the Kuwait Conference at the end of March 2015

JORISS: Supporting Aid Effectiveness Ensuring Government of Jordan ownership JORISS ensures projects are aligned with the Government's priorities as outlined in the JRP 2015 JORISS is the government owned and run information system for the Syria Crisis that provides full access for all stakeholders

JORISS: Supporting Aid Effectiveness Providing timely project submission and approval Submission of all information, documents, and correspondence concerning the submission process is centralized and logged in JORISS JORISS has built in data checks to ensure the most common errors are corrected before submission

JORISS: Supporting Aid Effectiveness Promoting transparency Through JORISS agencies can view the status of all their projects, whether they are “Open for Editing”, “Pending”, or “Approved” Projects that have been submitted and are pending approval include online status updates on: Status updates (Reviewed by MOPIC, Sent to Cabinet, Sent back for revision, etc.) Comments and feedback Information on all approved projects is available to the public through the 4W Project Search JORISS supports harmonization by allowing information sharing on ongoing projects to avoid duplication
