Arrow of Light Den Transition Options For Program Year Only For boys who earn Webelos rank by June 1, 2015: Option 1:Continue using current handbook & requirement Option 2:Use new Arrow of Light requirements. The following may be substituted for the three elective adventures: Activity badges from program that were not used for earning the Webelos rank. New adventures required for the Webelos rank
Scouting Adventure Scout badge becomes a rank effective 1/1/2016.
Scout Rank & Transition Scout rank no longer “joining badge” – must complete in troop setting only– not every boy will be familiar with requirements
Scout Rank & Transition Make sure visiting Webelos Scouts are aware of new Scout badge requirements. Encourage all dens to earn “Scouting Adventure” pin before transitioning to troop.
Scout Rank & Troop Visits & Outings Find out what adventures the den has already completed. Find out what adventure skills the boys may need to review. Find out if any boys are “behind” and need extra help.
