Pelican taxonomy Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Chorda Class: Aves Order: Pelicaniformes Family: Pelecanidae Genus: Pelecanus Species: Erythrorhynchos

Cardinal taxonomy Kindom: Animalia Phylum: Chordata Class: Aves Order: Passeriformes Family: Cardinalidae Genus: Cardinalis Species: Cardinalis

Finch taxonomy Kindom: Animalia Phylum: Chordata Class: Aves Order: Passeriformes Family: Fringillida Genus: Fringilla Species: Carduelis Spinescens

Order: 1. Pelican 2. Finch 3. Cardinal 4. Robin 5. Blue Jay

Similarities and differences Some common things that all the birds had was that they all laid eggs, were in the class of Aves, have feather covered skin, have a beak, fly, and breath air. The Pelican would have the most difference between all the other birds. This is why I picked the Pelicans as number 1. The lower the birds number, the more similarities they have to each other.
