o an actress/actor captures the audience’s attention by using actions, emotions, physical to represent an actual event o even if the perform is the only one physically present on stage. o To fully enhance and totally capture the true essence of sensory imagination an individual has to become fully immersed in the world around them. o You also have to heighten or increase the abilities of your 5 senses o (taste, feel, smell, sound, sight, and hearing) o if you can perfect these then you will do extremely well with your sensory imagination Sensory Imagination

Difference between Imagining and Perceiving o Many individuals get imagining and perceiving rather confused o they do share quite a few similarities o both imagery and perception require one to channel their five sense as stated before o they should not be mistaken when dealing sensory imagination. o Perception requires an individual to be aware o Imagination relies on the individual to conjure the images from their mind instead of having them actually present. o You will need to rely on your imagination for sensory imagination. o hence the name sensory imagination

The Senses HearSightSmellTaste Touch The following are a few tips that can be used to heighten your senses: o Hearing- eat ear friendly foods, listen to music, and stay away from extremely loud noises. o Sight- always have adequate lighting, step away from the computer, stay hydrated, and do eye exercises. o Smell- put your nose to good use, exercise regularly, verbalize your scents, eat zinc, etc. o Taste- minimize sugar and salt consumption, avoid processed foods, taste the rainbow, etc. o Touch- look at what you’re touching, how it feels matters, and exfoliate your skin Increasing the Senses

o Mastering sensory imagination can only happen if one fully decides to immerse themselves within the world around them and appreciate what has been given for them to evaluate. o Sit back every once in a while and imagine yourself out in the middle of the desert, sweating profusely, mouth dry, with nothing to quench your thirst. o Better yet, sit in an empty TV box and go on robot pirate adventures like SpongeBob and Patrick did. o Whatever you choose to do to fully immerse yourself and your senses, to make sure it comes/flows naturally for you.
