SIMON SENIK Starting with Why
A lack of common vision and a misunderstanding or lack of understanding of the WHY leads to: Fear of change Leads to “resistance” Risk relying on a single form of data to inform People do not buy what you do, they buy why you do it. It is not WHAT we do in MFWHSR, it is WHY we do it What holds us back? Flex Time Teacher Advisor Credit Recovery Blended Courses Competencies Quality Learning Experiences Quality Teaching Ensuring Student Success Allowing All Students to Thrive High School Completion
If all stakeholders can understand WHY they are doing something and work together on a common understanding of that WHY, while also ensuring voice in the decision making process, it will lead to successful implementation of Moving Forward with High School Redesign. Our work during this workshop is to focus on the WHY.
