“Mr. Wilson is Watching YOU!” English 506 – Poster Presentation

Objective You and a partner are going to research and create a poster relative to George Orwell’s novel You have the option of either creating your own cult of personality around Mr. Wilson (think Stalin) or a "Mr. Wilson is Watching you" poster.

My Expectations: Nothing degrading or inappropriate (good – CLEAN – fun.) Your artistic abilities are not that important, more your CREATIVITY in researching and producing a good poster. DO NOT JUST RECREATE! Mix and match!

When you present your poster: Give us a little bit of what you were thinking or where you got your inspiration. Why do you think your poster will be effective? What psychological and/or literary elements are you trying to use in your poster? (Fear, allusion, juxtaposition, hyperbole, etc.)

Evaluation: Again, you will be evaluated by myself and your peers. PAY ATTENTION TO THE RUBRIC! My late policy still applies. Feel free to experiment with other forms of art (N.B.: talk to your media and/or art teachers).

Good luck! (Please be gentle…)
