How PCAT works? PCAT provides customers with a set of CEMLI discovery scripts that can be run directly by the customer. These discovery scripts will analyze your existing environment and will create a series of files that contain information around custom objects in your PeopleSoft application. These files can then be sent to Oracle to load into PCAT.   Once the files have been loaded into PCAT – the information will be simultaneously compared against that following 3 data stores: A CEMLI Benchmarking database of over 800 PeopleSoft environments A repository of available PeopleSoft Maintenance events (Bundles, Tax Updates, PeopleTools Releases) The latest version of PeopleSoft (9.2) The results of these compares are used to populate the standard analysis reports and dashboards in PCAT. Customers can access the results through online access to PCAT as a subscription service. As part of the subscription service to PCAT, Oracle will update each of the data stores on a periodic basis with new benchmarking data, updated maintenance events, and the latest code line for PeopleSoft 9.2. Customers can also refresh their CEMLI repository with a new upload of CEMLI information from their application.
