As a result of this training, participants will understand how to: Access the Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying-Investigations, Trainings and Programs (HIB-ITP) data collection system; Enter HIB investigations, trainings and programs into the HIB-ITP; Edit and delete HIB-ITP data; and Enter HIB-ITP data for official submission. 2
A district-level EVVRS account is required. School-level EVVRS users cannot access HIB-ITP. The Homeroom Administrator establishes accounts for staff that require access to HIB-ITP. What to Report in HIB-ITP Number of HIB investigations conducted; Number of HIB Investigations completed within ten days; Number of HIB Investigations affirmed (i.e., found to be HIB by the board of education); HIB trainings provided, date, hours, target population, and number of participants; and HIB programs provided, start date, duration, target populations, school-wide conditions addressed and person responsible for assessing the program. 5

Before entering HIB-ITP data: Have your completed HIB-ITP Data Collection form ready. HIB incidents that have been affirmed (i.e. found to be HIB by the board of education) must be entered in the HIB-ITP system as the “Number of HIB incidents affirmed” and also as HIB in the EVVRS. IMPORTANT! The number of affirmed HIB incidents in the HIB-ITP system must match the number of affirmed HIB incidents reported in the EVVRS. Please verify data in both systems. 8
