  UMD uses TES as a workflow system to 1)Establish the evaluation of transfer courses 2)Create a record of transfer course decisions being made

  Access to a large database of course descriptions  Helps keep track of what courses are out for review  Ability to electronically send courses between multiple users for evaluation  Establishes a log of when courses were evaluated and by whom Why Use TES as a Workflow

 UMD uses TES as a workflow in part because faculty review course decisions at our institution; however, it can still be used as a great workflow tool if you or your office are the sole reviewer of courses.
