Dinosaur Research Report By: Randall Fitzgerald

Compsognathus My dinosaur’s name is Compsognathus. Its name means Pretty Jaw. The Compsognathus lived during the Jurassic Period.

Compsognathus My dinosaur was 3 feet long and weighed 6 ½ pounds. A Compsognathus is a carnivore. That means that it only ate meat.

Compsognathus My dinosaur looked very different from other dinosaurs. It had hollow bones, short arms with two clawed fingers on each hand. It walked on two long, slender legs.

Compsognathus One interesting fact the Compsognathus is it was about the size of a chicken or a cat.

Compsognathus Only two skeletons of a Compsognathus have been found, both in Europe.
