TASK 5 - SPORTS DEVELOPMENT IN PRACTICE Part 1 – Essay: Your task is to produce an essay that describes (P5) two different sports development initiatives, as well as comparing and contrasting (M4) both identifying strengths and areas for improvements. You must then attempt to analyse (D2) the two initiatives offering realistic recommendations for improvement.

Explain the two initiatives that you have chosen, then compare and contrast the initiatives, identifying strengths and areas for improvement for each of them. Evaluate two initiatives, examining their strengths and weaknesses then go on to analyse the three different sports development initiatives in the areas of: their target groups, sport specificity, location of the initiative and their effectiveness. From this analysis, offer realistic recommendations for improvement in these initiatives. Learners to consider the following headings but ensure this is done in an essay format.
