TURKISH HISTORY

Turkish Republic was established in 1923 by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. He protected us from enemies. He was our leader.

This is our Turkish flag. It is believed to be created with soldiers’ blood and reflections of the moon and star in the night sky.

MANTI: It’s a kind of dough. It includes meat as well.

AŞURE: It is a very popular dessert in Turkey. It includes almost all things.

BAKLAVA: It’s a special dessert of Turkey. It’s really delicious. You should taste it when you visit İzmir

LOKUM: It’s called “Turkish Delight”. It’s very common all over the world.

Turkish Coffee It’s a special kind of coffee and it is very delicious. After drinking it, someone comments about one’s future who drinks it.
