2 On March 20, 2014 the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission) proposed as part of a series of orders to revise its regulations at section to better coordinate the scheduling of natural gas and electricity markets in light of increased reliance on natural gas for electric generation, as well as to provide additional flexibility to all shippers on interstate natural gas pipelines. 3 September 29, 2014 NAESB submitted recommended changes to WGQ standards in response to FERC NOPR. April 16, 2015 FERC issued final order o In the final order, the Commission adopted the timely, evening and intraday nomination schedule proposed by NAESB in the report o Additionally, the Commission supported incorporating a 9:00 am Central Clock Time start to the gas day into the existing NAESB standards.
