Overview of Process Local Research Team identified key issues Winter Regional Bargaining Forums gave direction on issues of concern Spring Council of Presidents appointed Provincial Bargaining Team Fall 2014 – OECTA met with Employers group (OCSTA & government) to set ground rules and scope of bargaining January Matters in dispute referred to Ontario Labour Relations Board for arbitration BEFORE RATIFICATION – Tentative Agreement comes back to Provincial Executive, Council of Presidents, then to the membership for ratification vote.
