Lead-Free Radiation Protection Products Lightweight. Proven Protection.

About Lite Tech Founded in 1992 with the acquisition of the patented XENOLITE business and technology from DuPont. Our products are and innovation in lightweight and eco- friendly radiation protection. Headquartered near Philadelphia, Lite Tech is the only full integrated x-ray protection manufacturer with an in- house R&D Lab, engineers, and ANSI representation on the IEC committee. Lite Tech produces its own proprietary core/sheet materials giving greater control over quality and standards compliance.

About Lite Tech cont. XENOLITE is the world’s first light-weight, multi-element, composite x-ray protection material designed to replace lead-vinyl while offering a significant weight reduction. First in producing lightweight material, first in manufacturing a lead free option, and first with bi-layer technology. XENOLITE products are backed by a thorough, vigorous testing process which meets the stringent world standard IEC (both 80 & 100 kV).

Lite Tech’s Mission The Lite Tech mission is to provide the worldwide hospital industry with the most technologically advanced radiation protection, offering a combination of lightweight material and safety that is unmatched in the industry. Lite Tech products are sold in over 24 countries and at every interaction with each of our clients, we demonstrate our commitment to delivering the most innovative products to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Why XENOLITE Lead Free? First and only products available on the market today that are entirely lead-free, recyclable and safe for non-hazardous disposal. None of our core materials contain “cross-linked” or “cured” rubber or vinyl matrices. XENOLITE is the world’s lightest apron material offering full protection (80 kV – 120 kV). Lite Tech products do not contain any amount of phthalate plasticizers, latex, or heavy-metal based rubber additives and therefore comply with the EPA under RCPA regulations and with European “WEEE” legislation.

Lite Tech- Industry Leader Industry Firsts: First in producing lightweight radiation protective material First in manufacturing a lead-free option First with bi-layer technology, Lite Tech has and continues to develop unrivaled leading-edge capability in the combined sciences of radiation physics and complex highly-filled plastics processing. XENOLITE was the world’s first lightweight, multi- element, composite x-ray protection material designed to replace lead-vinyl while offering a 30% weight reduction.
