5th year is organized in two separate formats with the ultimate goal to deliver practical skills training. There are 9 topics, see Syllabus, 5th year, organized in block. Special topics (psychotherapy and crisis intervention) are part of Neurobehavioural Sciences II module (for details go to Vyuka, Neurobehavioural Sciences II).

Exam Succesfull passing of the 5th year oral Medical Psychology Exam is a prerequisite for participation in the State Exam from Neurobehavioural Sciences, that has two parts: 1. Oral Medical Psychology exam and Oral commissional exam from psychiatry and neurology. The Medical Psychology Exam Questions and the Terms for Medical Psychology Exam, winter semester 14/15 are attached below. The whole text about the State Exam Neurobehavioural Sciences is attached below. The rules for Medical Psychology Exam are as follows. For oral exam from psychology and oral commissional exam from psychiatry and neurology student apply through the Student Information System (SIS). Oral exam from psychology takes place in the Department of psychology of 3rd Medical Faculty, Ruská 87, building 19. The terms are published in Study Information System (SIS) and in web module Vyuka, Medical psychology, Informace o predmetu unit. At the examination, student will be allotted one question. List of questions is available in web module Vyuka, Medical psychology, Informace o predmetu unit. Successful passing of the oral exam from psychology is prerequisite for participation at the oral commisional exam from psychiatry and neurology. Successful passing is defined as the grade „excellent“, „very good“ or „good“. This result is part of the overall result of SFE. If the student subsequently does not pass oral commissional exam from psychiatry and neurology the result from oral exam from psychology remains valid and the exam does not have to be repeated.
