What is Clearing? Clearing is another opportunity for some students to apply to university in the UK. Clearing opens on Wednesday 1st July 2015 and closes 30 th September. You can apply anytime after this date as soon as you know your results.

Clearing is for you if… You are not holding any offers for university You don’t meet the conditions of your offers You haven’t applied to any universities yet

Think you’ll be in Clearing? Don’t wait for results day. Start preparing now!

BTEC or Access student? Don’t wait for A-level results day. You can apply directly to universities from 1 st July 2015!

Adjustment is for you if … You exceed the conditions of your offer You can swap your university and/or course for another You have five days to find another course if you want to You don’t have to swap You don’t lose your confirmed offer whilst you look

Think you’ll be in Adjustment? Don’t Wait for results day. Look for some interesting alternatives.

Late Applications is for you if … You haven’t applied to any universities yet. It’s not too late, you can still apply for courses starting this year! You have two options Apply through UCAS up to 30 th June Apply directly to your chosen university from 1 st July

Don’t wait for results day Whatever position you think you’ll be in, plan ahead now – just in case! Look for alternative courses that interest you Call university helplines, or use , live chat and social media Talk to teachers, career advisers and your parents Make a contact list of your preferred alternative universities and courses
