The Market Research on canteen Done by: Chen Hsi, Yoon Kiseon, Noh Wooseong

What is market research? Market research is the process of collecting valuable information to help you find out if there is a market for your proposed product or service. In a conclusion: Find Out What Your Customers Want!!

Questionnaire We choose 10 students in school and give them the questionnaire. We made a chart presentation after analyzing their answer.

Questionnaire 1. Do you like the food in school canteen? 2. Do you think the price for the food is reasonable? 3. Do you have any opinion or suggestion for the canteen? 4. Do you think we need more tableware for students to have lunch? 5.What kind of food do you like ? 6. How often do you eat in canteen in one day?

Most of the students do not like the food in school canteen is because the food is quite expensive and there is limited choice of food. 60%40%

Most of the students think that as the price increases, the portion remains unchanged, this shows that the food is getting more expensive.

3. Do you have any opinion or suggestion for the canteen? There are 5 students think that the price for the food is too expensive. They do not want the price of food to increase anymore. There are 3 students think that the canteen can add more variety of food for students. There are 2 students think that the canteen can add one more cashier to increase the checkout efficiency.

Most of the students think that school can buy more tableware for students to have meals, because there is usually not enough tableware except for chopsticks.

Most of the students choose buffet because there will be more choices and it is cheaper than the chicken chop.

Most of the students eat in canteen once in a day because there are more PYP students in school who do not need to stay back for class and most of the Year 11 students in CIE do not need to stay back after class.
