This manual was written using an Iphone 4s Version One of the keys to successful freight management, transportation, and delivery is the accurate, real-time tracking of the status of shipments, start to finish. Shippers need information about their goods in transit, forwarders, handlers and carriers need to be able to document that they’ve done their jobs and end customers deserve to know what to expect from their delivery experience. While the process isn’t new, eTrack now mirrors all of the traditional freight management and documentation processes and tools and presents them in a powerful mobile application. ETrack provides the transportation professional an accurate, time-saving and convenient transportation management tool. This manual provides instruction for its use. Once your ID number is typed in, click on the password field and type in your password. * Refer to Chapter 4 (tips and Tricks) to learn more about how to get your user name and password 9

Once you have signed your name, click on the “Done” button. 10 * If your signature is too short, you will have try again

Penchant Software Inc. eTrack User Manual – Chapter 2 Confirm that this is the stop that you want to pick up and then select “Arrived”. 14 * Refer to chapter 4 tips and tricks for further use of the tools on this screen. Once you click Arrived, you will need to confirm the arrival. If arrival is what you selected then confirm by clicking “Yes”. Clicking ”No” will back you out of the screen

If the barcode is not able to be scanned, click on the box where it says “Enter barcode” to type the tracking number in manually. 15 The Circle Icon at the bottom left shows how many items have been scanned versus the number of items expected. The Circle Icon in the bottom right in Red shows the total number of items scanned with exceptions This area shows you the item tracking number and a description of the item(s). It also shows the item scanned in the far right using the fraction. 0/1 means that item has not been scanned.

This will start the camera to scan an item. 16 The Circle Icon at the bottom left shows how many items have been scanned versus the number of items expected. The Circle Icon in the bottom right in Red shows the total number of items scanned with exceptions This part of the screen shows you the items to be scanned. The scan count is in fraction format on the right next to each item.
Penchant Software Inc. eTrack User Manual – Chapter 2 You will need to hold the view over the barcode so the red line on the screen is same width as the barcode. The phone will automatically focus and capture the scan, no need to push anything to get the scan. You should hear a beep from the phone for scan conformation. 17

As you can see, the fractions in the far right are now 1/1 next to each item. 18 The Circle Icon at the bottom left shows how many items have been scanned versus the number of items expected. The Circle Icon in the bottom right in Red shows the total number of items scanned with exceptions. Once all items are scanned, you will need to press the Items button. This window will pop up asking if there are any exceptions

Penchant Software Inc. eTrack User Manual – Chapter 2 From this screen you will need to select the POD box. Then type in the first and last name of the person that is accepting the drop off. 20 After you have typed in the first and last name, click on the “Sign” button.
Penchant Software Inc. eTrack User Manual – Chapter 2 The person accepting the drop off or pick up will sign using their finger or a stylus. 21 Cancel button to go back to POD screen, Clear button clears the signature screen if a mistake was made and the done button accepts the signature.

Here is a diagram that shows how to tell the front from a side of a package. To be able to identify the correct location of a condition, you must first be able to describe the location. The side of the box that has the label on it is the FRONT of the package.

The tool icon can be clicked to see assembly details for a job Clicking on this icon will open a screen that shows the progression of the job.

Then you will need press send on your phone to complete the phone call. This icon will have a letter indicating what state the job is in. This icon will open the GPS navigation in your phone and guide you to the job.
