High School 101: Ashley Ridge Mission Ashley Ridge High School is committed to providing educational opportunities in a safe, supportive environment which fosters pride, inspires excellence, promotes respect, and builds strong relationships.

High School 101: Ashley Ridge Vision We are committed to establishing a school culture which understands no limits to the achievement and success of each student.

High School 101: Radcliffe’s Non-Negotiables 1.Attend school and each class every day. 2.Arrive at school and class on time. 3.Respect yourself, your peers, and adults. 4.Take care of your school and your belongings 5.GRADUATE IN 4 YEARS!

High School 101: Ashley Ridge Beliefs Public education is the most important function of Ashley Ridge High School because educated and highly skilled individuals are the most important assets of our community; therefore, we believe: 1.Learning is required. 2.Students will be involved and successful. 3.Failure is not an option 4.We Care!

High School 101: Student Expectations Students should be active participants in their education. Students should complete all assigned tasks on time. Students should be actively engaged during all lessons. Students should arrive to school and class on time and be ready to work. Students should follow all district, school, and teacher rules.

High School 101: Student Expectations Students should wear ID’s at all times. Students should check Power School weekly to keep track of their progress. Students should treat other students, parents and adults with respect and establish positive relationships. Students should turn in requested information on time. Students should support each other.

High School 101: Student Expectations Students should attend extra-curricular events. Students should attend Individual Graduation Plan meetings yearly. Students should set yearly academic and social goals for themselves. Students should take advantage of all of the services that AR provides.

High School 101: Ashley Ridge Goals 1. Full implementation of a comprehensive college and career readiness program a. Quality Core Testing -Geometry, English 2, English 3, Chemistry b. District Cohort Testing -ACT testing c. College and Career Assessments d. Early College Program e. ECPI Program

High School 101: Ashley Ridge Goals 2.Increase the graduation rate – 85% is the goal. We currently have a graduation rate of 88.2%

High School 101: Ashley Ridge Goals 3.Improve the culture and climate of the school through building positive and healthy relationships with all stakeholders.

High School 101: Ashley Ridge Goals 4. Provide more students access to intellectually challenging career/technical studies in high demand fields that emphasize the higher-level mathematics, science, literacy and problem- solving skills needed in the workplace and in further education.

High School 101: Ashley Ridge Goals 5. Use student assessment and program evaluation data to continuously improve school culture, organization, management, curriculum and instruction to advance student learning.

High School 101: Ashley Ridge Goals 6.90% of seniors will earn a National Career Ready Certificate, and 75% of those seniors will earn silver, gold, or platinum credentials. This goal is achieved through the Work Keys Test. All 11 th grade students will take Work Keys in the Fall.
