Industrialization in Southeast Asia

Most of Southeast Asia began industrializing in the 1960’s Industrialization is when an economy moves from agriculture and producing things by hand to manufacturing using modern technology Low wages in Southeast Asia have meant that businesses around the world do a lot of their manufacturing there Many of the countries of Southeast Asia have joined the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), an organization the promotes economic growth in the region
