Read through Trish story and go through the 3 questions 

Introduction By the end of this unit, you will be able to: Identify and define the nature of physiological disorders, Identify and define the processes involved in the diagnosis of physiological disorders, Produce a care pathway for physiological disorders, Identify and define strategies used to support individuals with physiological disorders.

What will this unit be about ? How physiological disorders might affect an individuals life and development? How disease are caused, diagnosed and treated ? How care is provided by various key professional to those with physiological disorders?

What will be the key assessment in this unit ? You will be completing 2 key assignment for this unit which will include: Reports, Flow charts, Leaflet

Key terminology Physiological Disorder is a disorder caused by factors other than a pathogen; abiotic disorder. Pathogen is a bacterium, virus, or other microorganism that can cause disease. Abiotic disorder is disease caused by factors other than a pathogen; physiological disorder.
