The system is designed to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the richness and complexity of the graduate labour market. It delivers classic careers guidance content and deep insights into 24 different job sectors. My Prospects provides students with access to the Career Planner software and enables a connection with recruiters and service providers.

The Prospects Net system enables college and university careers and employability teams to operate vacancy and event platforms. In addition to receiving vacancies from local employers, Prospects Net operators are connected to a national vacancy sharing service. This vacancy sharing service ensures that all Prospects net operators are on the radar of some of the biggest recruiters, as well as employers new to the graduate market.

We work with all colleges and universities to encourage students to sign up to My Prospects. In 2015 we will be launching a college/school- leaver opportunity service. The Prospects system provides long-term support to students and graduates, from pre-university through to experienced graduate employment.

Further and higher education institutions are eligible to become members of the Higher Education Careers Services Unit (HECSU) which provides members with resources and services including Prospects publications for students and research support for careers professionals.
