Rules! You can’t serve over-arm. Your serve has to be behind the first white line. You can’t use your hands to hit the shuttlecock. You can’t hit the shuttlecock after it has hit the floor. The shuttlecock has to go over the net. The shuttlecock can’t touch the floor, it has to stay in the air. You can’t have your foot off the floor when you serve. You can’t serve straight you have to serve diagonally. You can’t hit the shuttlecock twice in one turn.

Where is Out and Positions on the Court! In doubles the rails are out. In singles the rails are in. For both singles and doubles outside the rails is out. If the shuttlecock lands in front of the first white line in a serve, that is out. If you touch the net with your racket or any part of your body. When you serve, if the shuttlecock doesn’t end up on the section of the court diagonal to you. Positions on the court! Serving: each player diagonal to each other. Doubles: you can either do sides or front and back. Doubles when serving: the person who is receiving the serve stands at the front and the other person stands at the back.

Scoring! If the serve is illegal. If the shot is out. If you touch the net. If the shuttlecock touches the floor. If the shuttlecock doesn’t go over the net. If one of your feet is off the floor when you serve.

Instructions Serve diagonally The person you serve to has to hit the shuttlecock Carry on playing like this If someone gets a point the person who got the point serves
