E-4’s who have 46 months (TIS) and 10 months (TIG) will be automatically integrated onto the promotion standing list. The validation of these soldier’s will be a current APFT and a current weapons qualification or exception. All Soldier’s listed will be given 350 points. Unit Commander can deny any soldier that they do not want integrated onto the list. (Must be done by 18 Mar 2005). As of 19 Mar 2005 Soldier’s put on list will be considered as promotable. Points will be effective for 1 Apr Unit Retention NCO’s will change the immediate reenlistment code based on this message. Soldier’s who fall within this paragraph will have their RCP changed from (10) years to (15) years.

Unclassified If a unit inadvertently overlooked a Soldier, and that Soldier was erroneously list integrated, the only way that command can get the Soldier removed from the list is to follow the procedures of AR , ch. 3, para 3-28, automatic removals versus a removal board. Soldier’s added to the list in this manner are not eligible for re-computations. Soldier’s wishing to add points for actual accomplishments IAW AR , must be recommended and boarded by their chain of command. If a soldier chooses to appear before a board and is not recommended for promotion, they will be removed from the standing list even if they were already integrated onto the list. Unclassified Soldier’s that fail the promotion board and are removed from the promotion standing list will have their RCP re- adjusted immediately back to 10 years.
