Art 257 :: Motion Graphic Design :: Week 2 :: B In-class Presentation :: Assignment due :  Latin Alive 10 second Storyboard, Storyboard Animatic, and Re-Animation Assignment  purpose/objective: To analyze an existing animation, to solve a visual time-based design problem using hand drawn sketches in order to communicate a narrative visual message, and to understand the component layers of an animation.  assignment:  Choose a 10 second segment of Latin Alive to analyze, storyboard, and recreate.  There are three parts to the assignment: 1.Using marker and paper, sketch a storyboard sequence of no less than 8 slides. 2.Scan your images and make a digital slideshow using Flash. Animate certain elements if necessary. 3.Recreate a polished version of the 10 second animation in Flash  format: three different deliverables in multiple formats:  storyboards – 8.5” x 11” or 600x800 pixels:  jpeg of gif  4 slides per sheet or 8 slides per sheet.  animatic – 2 30 fps, 320x240  flash.swf  quicktime.mov  final recreated animation – 2 30 fps, 320x240  flash.swf  quicktime.mov  post all of the above on your class web site and provide a link for us to view it off of your main class web page.
