Location & Time Citrus Elementary School Randall Ave. Fontana, CA :00-5:00 p.m. on Friday, 5/7/04 Located North of the 10 Freeway from Citrus, on the corner of Citrus & Randall.

Housing Many blocks included older homes directly across the street from newer track homes. East of the school were several low income dwellings.

Condos There were a minimum of 25 apartment buildings and two nursing homes.

Six Empty Fields

Other Schools One High School A few middle and elementary schools.

Churches Several churches are located in the area, a few in Spanish.

People in the area The area seemed very family oriented. Kids were playing at the playground. In the shopping centers, many families were seen. We saw vendors on the corner.

Extracurricular Activities for Kids

Safety Many large intersections with stop signs versus stop lights. Many included five way stops. Railroad crossings in the area. Not many places for kids to hang out except for the skate park.
