Poster 398 Genome-wide survey of cellulase related gene of white rot fungus, Pleurotus ostreatus Aim of work Genes of Pleurotus ostreatus encoding endocellulases were searched based on the information regarding the cellulases of other organisms.

Poster 398 Results Amino acid sequence data of cellulase (mainly endoglucosidase) were obtained from the biological databases. Consensus-degenerate hybrid oligonucleotide primers (CODEHOP) were designed. PCR amplification and sequence analysis were conducted.

Poster 398 Results PCR amplification was then performed using each pair of CODEHOPs. Sequencing
