7 New Work Proposals AC/31/2009 Market relevance justification, ensuring that:  the documentation justifying new work in ISO and IEC makes a substantial case for the market relevance of the proposal.  the documentation justifying new work in ISO and IEC provides solid information as a foundation for informed ISO member body and IEC national committee voting.  proposals comply with the requirements/expectations for their documentation before they are circulated for voting.  appropriate internal consultations take place regarding the relationships of proposals to and impact of them on existing work.  ISO member bodies and IEC national committees conduct appropriate consultations with relevant stakeholders on such proposals.  the approval of proposals for new work demonstrates substantial support and adequate committed participation.  pilot testing between October 1, 2009 and March 31, 2010 on selected TCs.
