Aquifer: Collections Subject matter: American Civil War and Lincoln Metadata requirements: MODS profile Currently only two institutions meet both requirements: –Library of Congress –Indiana University

Aquifer: Harvester Built upon the experience with OAIster and IMLS grant Expanded to harvest MODS records Including thumbnails, “harvested” from UIUC

Aquifer: Portal (1) Developed from OAIster Improved interface More fields to search –Language (now human readable!) –Institution
