Slide 4 Present Health care professionals have to undergo intensive educational preparation Large facilities provide on-site patient care The family doctor is now called a “general practitioner” and is supported by a team of specialists A holistic approach is now used: focuses on the care of the whole person - physically and emotionally Changes in the Delivery of Health Care
