MSc Computer Science Students from this course tend to do well in the job market. Intensive nature of the course is appreciated by employers. Course gives a broad base of computer skills so students can enter a wide range of IT jobs Especially succeed in people orientated IT jobs such as systems analysis, consultancy and user support. Students tend to have enhanced interpersonal skills and business awareness over first degree IT students. The extended project at the end of the course can enhance employability if chosen with regard to the skills required for a particular job. Few large IT employers in East Kent. Be prepared to commute, at least initially, or be flexible on work location for first job.
