Vocabulary Unit 3 Week 3 Meet the Super Croc

Hopeful – adjective: Wanting or believing that something wished for will happen. We are all hopeful for lots of snow days this winter.

Unable – adjective: Not having the power or skill to do something; not able. The boys were unable to complete the puzzle.

Confirm – verb: To show to be true or correct. The meteorologist will confirm this week’s weather forecast.

Ancient – adjective: Having to do with times very long ago. The paleontologist found ancient dinosaur bones.

Valid – adjective: Correct based on facts or proof. You must have a valid driver’s license to drive a car.
