What is surfing? Surfing is an activity in which waves are ridden on boards specially designed for performing this art. Areas that are highly popular for surfing are obviously those where various rivers, bays, or oceans are present. The most famous would be Hawai’i, California, the east coast of the United States, Fiji, and many others.

Why Surfing? As it may not be popular with others, surfing is a hobby of mine which I’m very passionate about. Even though some may be unaware, surfing is a very interesting and pretty difficult hobby to become good at, but once accomplished surfing is extremely fun. I chose to talk about this subject because I believe that anyone who has surfed or is willing to surf will have fun surfing. Hopefully I will spark some interest and comfort by presenting my views and some statistics on surfing.

Problems Encountered Getting a design I finally thought was good enough took me a really long time. I am not a well organized person at all and I have learned throughout this course that nearly everything we do is tedious and attentive to detail, two characteristics I have never possessed. Organizing the folders was the worst. Putting together an organized, clear, and presentable project Finding a somewhat relevant applet pertaining to surfing

Key Points Learned Even though I was aware of how to do a lot of things in PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint Designer, and Word, this project touched up on my skills in all these programs, especially SharePoint Designer. I learned a lot about surfing in general. Even though I’ve been surfing for years and have been aware of a lot of aspects of surfing, doing the research and making the project showed me and taught me even more.
