BOREAS: Balloon Sub-Orbital Radio Evaluation of Data TransmissionSlide 2 of 6 6/14/2006 Expected Results: 1 roll of film will successfully be shot by onboard camera. HOBO data-logger units will acquire and store temperature, altitude, pressure, and humidity data.

BOREAS: Balloon Sub-Orbital Radio Evaluation of Data TransmissionSlide 3 of 6 6/14/2006 Actual Results: Temperatures and pressure were successfully logged to HOBOs. Humidity and altitude measurements from HOBOs appear to be saturated in certain ranges of data. 1 roll (25 pictures) successfully shot at various altitudes.

BOREAS: Balloon Sub-Orbital Radio Evaluation of Data TransmissionSlide 7 of 6 6/14/2006 Conclusions: Internal components should have been secured better. It would help to research the operational parameters of the measurement devices in advance. Newer TOROID team members did gain experience in the design/build process and are better prepared to proceed to completion of the satellite.
