Christin Hamilton Domino’s Pizza Assignment #5 UI Dr. Seals

Task scenario Sam is a hungry new student at AU and he’s just found out that he can order from Domino’s online through the AU website. He goes to AU homepage and clicks on the ‘Students’ link on the menubar. From there is a list of ‘Frequently Used Resources’ and because the ordering system is so popular, it made the list. So he clicks on the ‘Order from Domino’s’ link which brings him to the login page. Because he has never used the Domino’s ordering system, Sam has to click on the ‘Setup DAU’ link. Since the DAU database has access to AU’s database, Domino’s already knew his name by his global ID, so he’ll only have to give his delivery location and his contact number. Because he lives right down the street the page will not give him any error concerning distance from the Domino’s location.

He is all set to order now that he’s automatically logged in after submitting that information. After browsing the Domino’s site, Sam is finally ready to order, but his roommate walks in and is really hungry too. Their order does not exceed the three pizzas per order limit, so he goes ahead and begins his roommate’s selections. They want 2 pizzas so they select 2 from the dropdown list and the page automatically refreshes to show two blank ‘Create A Page’ sections. After making and submitting the order, the next page shows a complete summary of the order and the total. On this page, they have the option of either making changes to the order or continuing to the payment options. Payment options allow them to either pay with a credit card or by check. Since Sam’s roommate has a debit card with no credit card company logo on it, Sam is stuck paying with his Visa checkcard (but his roommate will pay him back later). Along with the payment option, Sam is able to choose to have the order delivered. Then he clicks the ‘Pay Now’ button. He receives a confirmation page letting him know approximately what time to expect the delivery guy. Now Sam can log out.
