feup: identity more than 80 years of history: Faculdade de Engenharia is the largest school of Universidade do Porto, and has significant autonomy; since 2000, feup has moved to a brand new campus, just outside the city centre, in eastern Porto, PORTUGAL.

feup: identity we put our money where our knowledge is: a m² campus, with excellent infrastructures. The campus conveys a 8-floor library with 500 reading spots and work cabinets, 9 departments, 25 informatic laboratories equipped with 500 computers, among other facilities and class rooms;

feup: identity our heart & soul: feup holds up to students and 432 teachers and researchers distributed by 9 different departments, that range from Mechanical and Industrial Engineering to Civil Engineering and Electrical and Computer, among others;

feup: growth it’s all been worth it: with a total investment of 8 million € in the last 3 years feup has kept a steady pace towards excellence and innovation, namely: 18 spin- offs, 41 active or pending patent and brands, 24 R&D units, which involve 80% of the faculty;

feup: performance knowledge is our business: feup has adapted its courses to Bologna and currently offers a solid project of graduate and postgraduate education – 10 undergraduate courses, 9 of which granting a master degree; feup’s learning portfolio also include 9 postgraduate courses to obtain the master degree (2nd cycle) and a wide range of PhD conferring courses, that sum up to 18 different options on the 3rd cycle.

and we mean it: our excellence is proven by the excellent rate of employment (nearly half of graduate students are recruited before even finishing their studies) and, of course, by the scientific production of the school (1 ISI paper per permanent staff per year). feup: performance
