LIMITS OF AUTHORITY The President has no absolute authority The President’s authority to act must come from directives from the Board of Directors Any Club rule, procedure, by-law or constitutional provision that is contrary to association’s constitution is not valid.

CLUB MANAGEMENT A Club should take some necessary steps to make successful Lionistic year with taking following suggested needs Beginning of the year – Setting GOAL Preparation and Making Committee assignments Selecting Service Activities Fix the financial obligation and set program for arrangements Determine Record Keeping method

CLUB MANAGEMENT Reports on time to District and International by way of MMR or WMMR (E – Reporting) Must attend Zone Meeting, Region Conference & Attending Conventions Recognize and encourage members Build Next Leadership team and report PU101 form properly on time Apply Club Excellence Award

Club Excellence Award 1. SERVICE : The club has to conduct at least three service activities. 2. CONTRIBUTION : The club has to contribute to LCIF. 3. MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT : The club has to achieve a net growth in membership or sponsor a new club. The new members have to attend an orientation program and to be properly inducted in the club. 4. COMMUNICATION : The club has to publicize the club’s service activities in local media. 5. LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT : The Club leaders have to represent at zone meetings and majority of the club officers have to participate in the leadership training program. 6. CLUB ACTIVITY : The club has to host regular and meaningful club meetings and submit the Monthly Membership Report, the Service Activity Report, and the Club Officer Report (PU-101) in due time. 7. CLUB IN GOOD STANDING : The club has to be good standing (All international dues billings and new member entrance fees have been paid in full & no more than US$50 in any other expense due to LCI is outstanding beyond 90 days).
