GARP and the Site review the SSP proposal for quality of analysis and commercial attractiveness. If acceptable, KPI’s, SLA’s and contracts are developed and a Site Kick-off is scheduled. Target timing from initiation is 4-6 months. Goal is a 80% reduction in landfill, a 80% reduction in number of suppliers and a savings of >10% of total waste spend.

Alternative Use What is Alternative Use (Alt Use)? When product or materials expire and cannot be sold, GARP looks for alternative uses to avoid the cost and environmental impact of disposal. This requires collaboration with multiple internal functions including Product Supply, QA, HS&E and Finance to ensure internal and external compliance.
