■ The Academy and JISC are implementation partners of the HEFCE e-learning strategy. ■ Academy/JISC Collaboration Team comprises the Academy Team Leader and JISC Team Leader - Sharon Waller, Jo Smedley ■ Developing/implementing a cross-organisational plan to enhance accessibility to information and resources in e- learning for institutions. Academy/JISC Collaboration

■ There are 3 aims ►Achieve effective inter-working and communication between the various internal providers. ►Develop a shared web presence providing guided pathways to the available resources in various themes and topics within e-learning ►Strategic advice and guidance provided to JISC and the Academy on the development of e-learning within the sector. Academy/JISC Collaboration

Academy-JISC Collaborations/Funded Programmes ■ Distributed e-Learning (DeL) - all 24 Academy Subject Centres involved – areas like RLOs, e- portfolios, digitisation ■ DelAcc - TechDis have examine the potential accessibility benefits of the JISC DeL projects in each Subject Centre’s community. Around a dozen DEL projects were given extra funding to enhance or uncover any inclusion or access facets to the outcomes ■ Higher Education Assistive Technology (HEAT) Scheme - supported by the Academy and TechDis - funds the purchase of assistive technologies through Subject Centres - technology that assists with a particular need or learning style. For staff to utilise in their everyday practice

Academy-JISC Collaborations/Funded Programmes ■ Academy/Intute Resource Database Integration Project (AIRDIP) - a project to integrate and develop the distributed resource collection of the Academy Subject Centres into the single Intute resource catalogue. Four of the Academy’s Subject Centres are initially involved ■ Building capacity: Preparing for Bologna - JISC infoNet Bologna project which, in conjunction with a range of project partners, will produce a new applied infoKit to assist institutions in preparing for the Bologna Process ■ Collaborative approaches to the management of e-Learning (CAMEL) Benefits of e-Learning/Tangible (BELT) – 3 SC cluster with JISCinfoNet and ALT - 17 Universities across UK - 5 themes: e- portfolios/ e-assessment/ e-administration/learning resources and activities/tech-enhanced learning environments
